Worship Music Database

What is this site?
This site contains lyrics for worship songs with chords positioned in the correct places using a fixed-width font. Songs can be transposed into any key. I generally prefer this format to the format provided by CCLI because of the fixed-width layout, because many of CCLI's songs go to 2 pages instead of 1, and because of variations in lyrics, chord arrangements and song sequence, which you cannot change when you print CCLI's song sheets. This site also has chords for songs that CCLI doesn't have.
What features are available?
The search feature, which is not case-sensitive, will search the hymn #, the CCLI song #, the authors, the original album that the song is from, the title of the song and the full text of the song. The search works as a full phrase search, so searching for "Your love" will only return songs with the phrase "Your love", NOT songs with both "Your" and "love" as individual keywords. If you click on the "Hymn" header, only hymns will be shown, sorted by #. If you click again on the "Hymn" header, it will sort the hymns by name. To return to the list of all songs, or to reverse the alphabetical sort of the list of all songs, click on the "Title" header.
How do I print these songs?
You can copy / paste into your word processor of choice, however, a number of word processors (including OpenOffice) do not translate the HTML properly, causing problems in certain circumstances. Another option is that you can use the Print button (beside the Transpose buttons) and try printing directly from your browser.
A note about iOS devices
Unfortunately, iPhones, iPads and iPods will display chords slightly off, because they do not render some characters in fixed-width fonts (most importantly, spaces) correctly.
